Expanding circles of iridescence, a mandala is a geometric configuration of symbols. These highly-patterned, kaleidoscopic images represent the cosmos or universe in Hindu, Buddhist and Shinto traditions but can also be found in Eastern art practices, New Age spirituality, architecture and science. In ‘Mandala’ the subtly varying patterns are processed through delays, orbits within orbits, a geometric cosmos of clarinets radiating intricately forth.
