Near and Exact Repetition (2019) is a collaborative audio-visual installation between Jonathan Nangle and Sebastian Adams comprising of four cassette tape loops and a generative modular synthesis patch.

Imperfections in the DIY construction of the tape loops and time-worn mechanical degradation of the cassette players results in a slowly evolving soundscape of subtle variations.
