The Curious Cello (2019)

The Curious Cello is an interactive sound installation, commissioned by the Spike Alternative Cello Festival and The Ark Cultural Centre for Children.

The installation takes an old, past-its-prime cello and re-invents it for the 21st Century. Decorated with a vibrant, psychedelic design by Callum Knight. Incorporating conductive paint, users touch the body of the instrument to create a new and varied soundscape from the instrument.
